Manassu Peyyumpol, a book of poems written by Deepa Sanil was released on October 28 at Ashrafs Hall in Hoora.SPAC WLL Chairman P.Unnikrishnan released the book by handing it over to Baji Odamveli.

Labour Ministry and BAPS Bahrain commemorate late Pramukh Swami Maharaj
Under the patronage of Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel Al Humaidan, Hindu social and spiritual organisation Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) Bahrain held a solemn and loving ceremony in memory of the late Pramukh Swami Maharaj who passed away on August 13, 2016. The ceremony titled ‘Timeless Tribute’ was attended by 650 people including Mr Al Humaidan, Bahrain parliament speaker Khalifa Dhahrani, Royal Charity Organization Bahrain secretary general Dr Mustafa Al Sayed and Dr Ebrahim Al Dossary. BCCI chairman Khalid Almoayyed, ministry undersecretary Sabah Al Dossary and DT News chief editor Soman Baby.

WMC Bahrain celebrate Eid-Onam
World Malayalee Council (WMC), Bahrain Province celebrated Eid and Onam. WMC President Sevi Mathunni presided over the family get-together. WMC general secretary Joshua Mathew welcomed the gathering while chairman P Unnikrishnan, vice chairman Jayafar Maidani, WMC Global president A S Jose,Faisal FM, Mridula Balachandran,Dr Babu Ramachandran and Sathish Mudalayil also spoke on the occasion.
